Born and raised in Virginia and Maryland, Erin Leigh is an accomplished stage actor, having graduated with a Master's Degree in Shakespearean Acting from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, and has received the Joyce Graham Award for her role as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet (Band of Brothers Shakespeare Co.). Her first love is live performance and she has been honored to repeat many of her stage roles multiple times. Erin also holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from the Shenandoah Conservatory.
After entering the film industry in Baltimore, Erin Leigh moved to Atlanta, GA where her film and television career has taken off. Early on, her appearance as the famed Jawless Zombie in the AMC smash hit TV show The Walking Dead (season 1 episode 4) led to opporunities that allowed her to appear in every season of the show, including a season 3 appearance as a character named "Erin."
Erin most recently starred as Mrs. Medlock in a feature length production of "The Secret Garden." This steampunk inspired motion picture is now in wide release on all platforms.
For ten years, Erin appeared as the Snow Angel, Herschend Family Entertainment's signature face character for Christmas season theme park interactions. Erin's role involved nightly flights suspended high above the crowds while performing for delighted children.
As well as being a working actor, she enjoys costume design. Erin's design work can be seen in numerous television and feature film productions. For fun, Erin enjoys making fun clothes and accessories for her company, Quirky Skirts, and creating content for her YouTube Channel, Atomic Ohana.. |
